My son, Liam, was diagnosed at ten weeks with a rare liver disease named Biliary Atresia. He has been doing well, but it has become clear that he needs a new liver as soon as possible. This is very expensive, even though we have very good health insurance (something I wish for everyone!). Liam loves zoos, Yo Gabba Gabba, being hilarious, incredibly smart and stubborn. He’s pictured with his equally awesome twin brother, Finn.
Liam’s the bravest person I’ve ever met. He’ll have a long full life, with some medical issues and medication side effects, but we need to get him through this. Thanks for even taking a look.
It’s a bit sad that even with insurance, the expenses for a life saving organ are not covered. Perhaps because I’m a cynic I did my due diligence and checked out COTA on Charity Navigator. I’m not sure I’ve seen anything more legit. Then I saw this picture of Liam.
There are a lot of posts going around that say if you don’t reblog a bald kid with terminal flesh eating scoliosis, you are a monster and will burn in hell.
This is not one of those.
I’m just telling you that I was compelled to send 30 bucks in the hopes Liam can get a shiny new liver. And if you want the same warm tingly feeling I just got, you might do the same.

Society: You need to have boobs the size of Canada, an ass that will put Nicki Minaj to shame, perfect porcelain skin with nary a single blemish, straight white teeth that will blind somebody that looks at them without sunglasses, hair that is thick and flows like a waterfall made of rainbows and unicorn tears, eyelashes that will touch your forehead and look natural doing it, soft hairless skin, and a smolder that will fry a chicken in a basket. You also have to be a size 00 because guys love it when they can see your ribcage.
